As a Close to My Heart Independent Consultant and Director, Melissa has been teaching her customers how to celebrate relationships and preserve memories through the art of card making & scrapbooking for more than five
years.
“In 2005, I started scrapbooking as a way to showcase the pictures I was taking of Lawson & Cate and to make sure that I remembered the stories that went with them. Then, I started falling in love with the creative outlet and “me” time it afforded. But it all came full circle when I realized that I could share my passion with friends, and teach them how to preserve their family’s memories. Since then, I have made so many fantastic friends.”
Melissa is proud to lead a team of over 60 consultants from Virginia to Italy. In Spring 2009, she embraced Social Media for her Direct Sales Business with the creation of her fancyMelissa blog and her adoption of Facebook and Twitter. Melissa has taught at several Close to My Heart corporate events and she served on the company’s Advisory Board in 2010. And she has cruised the Caribbean with CTMH for two years and will be sailing the Hawaiian Islands in March 2012.
