Close to My Heart August Blog Hop – Baroque Borders

OOOOhhhhh…there is going to be SO much fun stuff for you to check out today. Not only are we highlighting the new August Stamp of the Month, Boutique Borders, but I’m guessing that many of the consultants on the hop will be showcasing products from CTMH’s Fall/Winter Idea Book – yay!

Thanks for hopping over from Amy’s Blog. When you are done, click over to Tamytha’s Blog to see what she’s created for you!

When we were in Dallas last month for Close to My Heart’s Convention, I got to teach at Extravaganza – a full four hours of artwork inspiration. And the favorite thing I presented looked just like this:

It’s a purse box created with the new Cricut Artiste cartridge. I random stamped with the largest image on the stamp set using Black Ink on White Daisy Cardstock. Then I cut a tag out of the same key, Key 2. And don’t you just LOVE this tulle. It’s nice and stiff so it stands up well. Then, I pulled the image from the new Casual Expressions stamp set. Here’s the coolest thing – when you cut this at Fit to Page, you can fit 3×3 cards perfectly inside in the box.

Isn’t that just so perfect? So I used the same Casual Expressions set to create 6, super simple cards. The images for each of the cards were cut using the Artiste Cartridge.

So here is a look at the Stamp of the Month, yours for only $5 when you spend $50 in August:

Before you go, let me tell you how much I love the bag we got from CTMH at Convention! It’s so stinkin’ cool. I want you to have one too. So when you sign up as a New Consultant starting today, August 1 at 9:00am MST, for only $49, you are going to get one in your New Consultant Kit – just for joining my team! This is truly the deal of the year! Don’t miss out because they are only available while supplies last and a deal like this isn’t likely to last for long.
