Friendship Bouquet, May Stamp of the Month

Ohhhh…it’s almost summer…and this Sunflower set is really getting me in the mood! Thanks for joining us for the May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. I am not even going to lie to you. I got a little sweaty when I saw this set in the Spring Summer Idea Book. I am not the best color-inner of stamps. Maybe one day I will be, but for now…I’m not. I decided to keep it simple (not really the queen of that either, but I can fake it okay). So I created a Clean & Simple one layer card using Outdoor Denim Ink. I was a little nervous that it wouldn’t turn out the way I wanted it to – but I love it. To me it almost looks letterpress. And I absolutely love the font that CTMH used for the sentiments. It’s simplicity is such a great contrast to the complexity of the sunflower designs.

To create this card, you need to create a mask.  It just takes 3 simple steps.

How to Create a Stamp Mask

1. Stamp your image.
2. Stamp it a second time and cut it out.
3. Place the image you cut out over the stamped image. Stamp the second image
