Move. It’s that simple. And that’s my plan for 2012. To move. Every day. No matter what.
2011 was filled with life lessons. Heartache like none I’ve ever suffered. Laughter with friends and family. Exciting travel. Personal successes and more. But I didn’t Move enough. I don’t Move enough. So no excuses. If it’s all I accomplish in my day, I will Move everyday. For at least a half an hour, hopefully more.
You might call it my One Little Word, or my resolution or whatever. For me, it’s just going to be my “thing”.
I created this wall hanging to remind me of my “thing”, to Move. It’s right above my desk. There as a reminder. So I don’t forget.
What’s your OLW, Resolution, or “thing” for 2012? What are you doing to remind yourself of it? I’d love to hear about it!

Melissa, I love this! I need to do this, but not on the wall of my studio, down in the basement, but upstairs, where I’ll see it. I think my word will be “action”. That’ll cover a lot for me.
My OLW is GROW…. this year is for Growth, to grow, blossom, learn, yield, flourish….GROW! I love the idea of a reminder and have just the ‘product’ in mind…thanks for the inspiration Melissa
I love the idea of a decorative reminder of my olw. Your word reminds me of the “move it move it” song from Madagascar. I remember Casey Spinks’ presentation on the Power Hour and how after each 15 minute segment, she had a little alarm clock that played the “move it move it” song.
My resolution is to “think outside the box” creatively. Sorry for the pain you experienced in 2011. We lost a baby boy through miscarriage at 19 weeks a month ago today. We are taking it one day at a time. My resolution for my family is to try and spend more time with them. I wish you all the best for 2012, Melissa. God bless you and your family.
